Identification:Users type one of their identifiers to log in. Authentication is on a separate screen since different users may have different options. |

Authentication:Users may be authenticated with a password, token, smart card, security questions or other mechanisms. Users whose profiles support multiple mechanisms must first choose a mechanism. |

Main menu:Users get a menu that presents navigation options tailored to the user's access rights and current situation. For example, a user who has already submitted a change request will get a link to check request status. Urgent notifications, if any, are highlighted at the top of the page. |

Administrator view of the same menuAdministrators, workflow managers and authorizers are presented with more options. This user can manage request queues, delegate authorization and fulfillment work and more. |
